In early 2024, we were engaged by our client to undertake independent heat loss assessments across multiple sites in Anglesey, comprising seven schools and three care homes. The buildings varied in size, ranging from 500 to 2,000 square meters. Our team conducted on-site visits to collect precise measurements and document the condition of the existing building fabric. This data was subsequently used to model the thermal performance of the buildings, factoring in planned fabric improvements.
All assessments were carried out while the facilities remained fully operational, with strict adherence to safety protocols. Our team worked efficiently, minimising disruptions while ensuring the safety of both elderly residents and minors. Full personal protective equipment (PPE) was utilised, and all requisite documentation and clearances were processed prior to entering any school premises.
